Sometimes it may seem that in special education, and in the app store, it can feel like you are falling in a black hole! A black whole where you hear names of so many wonderful things, that might be useful, but you can never actually see the true usefulness because you are spinning out of control in the darkness with no time to touch, see, or do. So much to explore, so little time! In our Interactive working session, where exploring will be necessary, you will leave here knowing how to make a social story, use video modeling techniques, create individualized 5-point scales for your students, use behavior tracking tools, and learn mindfulness techniques and apps. If time allows we will also have an app sharing time so bring your favorites to share and how you utilize them! We will have a list of Leslie and Deb’s to give you as well!
